Chugach Powder Guides Helicopter, Snow Cat and Resort Skiing

This six day Adventure is designed for expert skiers looking to challenge their skiing to the next level. Six days of guided skiing includes four days helicopter and snow-cat skiing and two days resort skiing. Kim and CPG guides create a safe and controlled environment allowing you to work on skills and techniques while daily terrain progression will build confidence in powder and steeps.

RESORT:

Alyeska Resort is truly a playground for advanced and expert skiers. Offering 1,610 skiable acres, 76 named trails and over 650” of snow annually, Alyeska lives up to its reputation as steep and deep.

HOTEL:

Just 45 minutes from Anchorage, Hotel Alyeska sits at the base of the resort. More than just luxurious accommodations, Hotel Alyeska includes 4 restaurants, spa, pools and numerous amenities. The 60 passenger tram leaves directly from the hotel and CPG’s snow cat and heli-ski operations are just out the door. It doesn’t get any more convenient.

Snow Cat Skiing

A typical cat skiing day will average 10,000 vertical feet of skiing over 8 runs. CPG guides draw upon 4000 acres of terrain options to deliver a great day of skiing, including gladed trees, steeps, open powder fields, rock features, pillows, and more.

Helicopter Skiing

Here, in the heart of the Western Chugach Mountains, the brilliance of Alaska awaits with its untracked powder. From wide open glacier fields to the steeps Alaska is famous for CPG offers some of the absolute best and most accessible powder skiing in the world. Drop into bowls overlooking the black sand shores of the Pacific, arc through acres of tall hemlock and sitka spruce, and never ski the same line twice.
